What “flex” should I use?

by Hugo Lacasse on Mar 09, 2023

The "flex" of a hockey stick is a measurement that indicates its rigidity when a force is applied to it. The higher it is, the stiffer the stick will be and vice versa. The appropriate "flex" will vary greatly from player to player.

The size and the weight of the player are elements to consider before choosing the right "flex". A grid can be used as a general reference but individual preferences should also be taken into consideration so we always recommend trying out different flexes to find the one you prefer. Here is our reference grid.
